1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Reflekto ("the Service", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.

2. Who Can Use Reflekto

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Reflekto. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

3. Your Account

To use Reflekto, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
All activity that occurs under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
Ensuring the information you provide is accurate and kept up to date

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that have been inactive for an extended period.

4. Your Content

You own your journal entries. All journal entries, notes, photos, and other content you create using Reflekto ("Your Content") remain your intellectual property. By using the Service, you grant Reflekto a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

We will never sell, share, or use Your Content for any purpose other than delivering the Service to you.

You may export your data or delete your account at any time from the Settings page.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Reflekto to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of the Service or its related systems
Introduce malicious code, viruses, or any other harmful software
Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security features of the Service

6. Service Availability

Reflekto is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from bugs. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

7. Termination

You may stop using Reflekto and delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon account deletion, your journals, entries, and personal data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, without prior notice in serious cases.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Reflekto shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim (which, for free accounts, is zero).

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Reflekto is provided without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that any errors will be corrected.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Reflekto after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any formal legal proceedings.
