Most journaling apps are brilliant — until they ask you to pay a monthly subscription just to use them on more than one device. I kept running into this wall. Great tools, but the moment you need your phone and laptop in sync, there's a price tag attached. For something as personal as a journal, that felt wrong.

I know how to code. So I built Reflekto — not as a startup, not as a product roadmap with investors, but as a tool I needed to exist. A private, focused journaling space that works everywhere, costs nothing, and gets out of the way.

Reflekto is built around two ideas: simplicity and privacy. Your journal belongs to you — no ads, no algorithms, no one reading what you write. Colour-coded notebooks, rich text editing, tags, search, writing prompts, streak tracking — everything a serious journaler needs, without anything that isn't.
